The card type shows whether a card spends your own balance or a credit line, which changes what happens when the account is empty.
Card type tells you whether a card spends your own balance or a credit line the bank extends, and it decides what happens when the balance runs out. Every provider in this group issues a debit card, drawn straight from the account you already hold: debit at 1st National Bank Saint Lucia, debit at ABN AMRO Zakelijk and debit at Absa. A debit card can only spend what you have put in, and no more.
